Edward is a kind but very ugly troll. Every night, he gathers food for his cruel companions, Borvil and Malod. One evening, he helps an old witch who promises him the heart of a princess. Edward is very happy but Borvil and Malod laugh at him. "You will never win the heart of a princess," they tell him. "You are far too ugly."
But Borvil and Malod may be wrong and the witch might be right. Perhaps a beautiful princess can fall in love with a hideous troll, especially one as sweet and loving as Edward.
Three Trolls And A Princess is suitable for boys and girls from 6 to 9 years-of-age. This story is 2100-words long and although not a “picture book”, it does have illustrations of the featured characters. Like all good fairy tales, it’s a story with both a moral and a happy ending.
