In this sci-fi/fantasy adventure presented as a serialized novel, Part One takes Captain Jonas Latham and his crew on the Galactic Alliance Starship Traveler into the farthest reaches of the galaxy, where Latham has been drawn into a top-secret, baffling mystery. He is now tasked with a covert mission under the guise of a routine First Contact encounter, and the Traveler group makes its way to a small backwater planet in the hindquarters of nowhere. Their arrival at the beautiful little world called Bryn leads to a foray deep into the countryside, where they are guided by the lovely golden scientist Miritha, who, along with a select crew, will act as their guide.
